Student Support

The IOBC has funds to support few selected students. The support is limited to those participants who have submitted an abstract for either a poster or a presentation in the contributed paper sessions. Please provide a short application for funding (e-mail), the title of your poster or talk to: joerg.romeis@art.admin.ch

All selected students will be informed and reimbursement will be specified by Dr. Romeis.

Registration fees

Participants

Participation at scientific sessions, welcome party (22nd June), coffee breaks, conference bag, abstract book including program, conference dinner (24th June), 1 copy of IOBC bulletin. All fees and rates are charged in CZK and include 20 % VAT.

Accompanying persons

Registration on site

No conference materials will be provided (available in electronic version on conference webpage). Registration on site covers only welcome party (22nd June), conference dinner (24th June) and 1 copy of IOBC bulletin. All fees and rates are charged in CZK and include 20 % VAT.

IOBC non-members

According to official IOBC/PWRS internal rules, additional amount of 1 450 CZK will be collected from IOBC non-members. The Biology centre, main workshop organizer have no influence on application of the rule.

Registration will be confirmed only after payment receipt.

Confirmation on student status will be required to be send in advance as scanned copy to zazvorkova@bc.cas.cz as soon as after electronic registration.

Cancellation conditions

Cancellation received before May 15, 2011 – refund 80 % only (minus 20% processing charge)

Cancellation within May 16 –June 14, 2011 – refund 50 % only

Cancellation after June 15, 2011 – no refund

Abstract instructions

Abstracts must be submitted online through this website under Abstract Submission menu.

The abstracts will be evaluated and revised by the EIGMO scientific committee. Decisions on acceptance and type of contributions (oral/poster) will be given directly by the scientific committee until May 15, 2011.

Abstracts submited after May 1, 2011 will not be accepted.

Full manuscript instructions

Full manuscripts will be published in a special issue of IOBC/WPRS Bulletin. Please when preparing manuscript, follow Bulletin instructions to the authors.

Oral Presentations

Oral lecture for key note speakers is planned to be 30 minutes + 5 minutes discussion. Other lectures are planned to be 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion. Please make sure to stay within this time limit.

Detailed informations about oral presentation scheduled will be available later.

Projector and computer will be set up in the conference hall. To minimize any compatibilty problems, please assure that your presentation is in Microsoft Power Point format (.ppt).

Poster

Required poster size is 1m x 1m or A0. Maximum number of posters possible to be accepted is 48 pieces.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided at student dormitories.

Accommodation at student dormitory K4 is in rooms with fridge own bathroom and toilet. Not available for student registration.

Accommodation at Student dormitory K1/K2/K3 is in rooms with fridge and handbasin; toilets and showers are in corridor (ladies /men) collective for the floor.

DBL room option stands for room shared with other participant or with own accompanying person, 2 separate beds.

Meals

Welcome party will be held in the university canteen nearby student dormitory K1.

Breakfast will be served only in the morning 23.6., 24.6. and 25.6.2011 as a part of the price of accommodation for conference nights. Breakfasts will be served from 7:00 to 9:00 in the university canteen nearby student dormitory K1.

Lunches will be served in the canteen located at Biology Centre:
